WithCove ("we") provides booking and payments software to service businesses. This page describes what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it.
What we collect
From customers who book an appointment: name, phone number, and (if you provide one) service address. We process payment information through Stripe — your card details never touch our servers.
From business operators: email address, phone number, business name, and bank/identity information you provide directly to Stripe during onboarding.
Automatically:server logs (IP address, request times) for abuse prevention and debugging. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To send booking confirmations, reminders, and cancellation notices by SMS.
- To authorize and settle payments via Stripe.
- To let the business you booked with see, reschedule, or cancel your appointment.
- To prevent fraud and abuse (rate limiting, slot-contention checks).
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.
SMS consent
When you enter a phone number on a booking form you are consenting to receive transactional SMS related to that appointment. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out; we will stop sending you SMS on that number.
Retention
Bookings remain visible to the business that received them. Secure "manage booking" links for customers expire 30 days after the appointment. You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting the business directly.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact the business whose link you used to book, or email us at the address below.
